Caver Named Athlete of the Week

Junior guard Marcedes Caver (Cleveland, OH) has been a key contributor for the Lady Pioneers basketball team the past three games and has been named the Alfred State athlete of the week.  Caver has led the team in scoring in each of the past three games.

Caver has netted 73 points in the last three games including 29 vs. SUNYIT and 28 vs. Wells. She has also grabed 24 rebounds, passed out eight assists and recorded six steals.

On the year she leads the Lady Pioneers with 196 points (19.6 per game).  She has grabed 83 reobunds, recorded 22 steals, and passed out 21 assists.

The Lady Pioneers take on Niagara CCC on Saturday at 1 p.m. in their next contest.
