Caver Named USCAA All-American

Marcedes Caver (Cleveland, OH) has been named an USCAA 2nd team All-American following a solid junior season.  Caver led the Lady Pioneers to a 11-10 season.

Caver started in all 21 games this season for the blue & gold.  She led the team with 404 points (19.2 per game).  She also grabbed 165 rebounds (7.9 per game), picked up 54 assists, and passed out 48 assists.

On the year she shot 36.1% from the field, connected on 35 three-pointers, and was 87 for 133 from the foul line.

Caver scored at least 10 points in 20 of the 21 games.  She scored more than 20 points eight times, and over 30 points twice.  Her season high of 39 points came in a victory at SUNY Canton. In that contest she was 17 for 26 from the field (5 for 9 from three), grabbed eight rebounds, and was credited with five steals.

Caver is the first Lady Pioneer to earn an All-American honor from the USCAA.  She will look to add to her success during her senior campaign in 2014-15.
