Lady Pioneers Move to #5 in Latest USCAA Poll
The Alfred State women's basketball team moved up to #5 in the latest USCAA poll. The Lady Pioneers have won nine of their eleven games in 2015 and are 14-5 on the season.
The Lady Pioneers were ranked #10 in last week's poll and were the biggest mover in the poll this week. Alfred State's rise in the poll can be attributred the team's nine game winning streak that stretched from January 14th until February 5th.
Concordia-Alabama is ranked #1 followed by Iowa Wesleyan, University of Dallas, Daemen, and Alfred State. The Lady Pioneers opponent on Saturday, Rochester College is ranked 15th.
The USCAA National Championships are March 3-7 at Penn State Fayette (Uniontown, PA).
