Levee Leads Way with 16

Kimberly Levee (Dansville) scored 16 points as Alfred State fell 75-53 to Cazenovia in day two of the SUNY Canton Tournament. Cazenovia won the tournament with a pair of victories.

Levee was 7 for 15, including two 3-pointers, to net 16 points to lead the Lady Pioneers. She also grabbed a team high nine boards. Chelsea Carl (Jasper Troupsburg) chipped in seven points while Kelly Kane (Wellsville) added six points and eight rebounds.

Skylar Girard led the Wildcats with 21 points while Kelli Shepardson finished with 17 points (13 of 14 from the foul line) and 14 rebounds. 

Cazenovia was 35 for 43 from the foul line while Alfred State held a 64-51 advantage on the boards. 

Alfred State plays their final game before the Thanksgiving break on Tuesday when they battle D'Youville at 6 p.m.
