Bialecki Earns USCAA Honors
Alfred State sophomore center Catherine Bialecki (Alfred Almond) has been named the USCAA women's basketball player of the week. Bialecki helped lead the Lady Pioneers to a 2-1 week.
Bialecki averaged 21.7 points per game, 11.7 rebounds, and 7.33 blocks this week. Her best performance of the week came in a one-point, 62-61, victory over Berkeley College. She scored 29 points, grabbed nine boards and recorded nine blocks. The night before in a victory at Pratt, she scored 16 points, grabbed 17 boards, and had nine blocks. Versus SUNY Poly she finished with 20 points, nine rebounds, and four blocks.
On the year she is averaging 17.7 points and 11.4 rebounds. She also has registered 65 blocks and passed out 27 assists.
