Bialecki Earns ACAA Honor for Second Straight Week
Alfred State junior Catherine Bialecki (Alfred Almond) has been named the ACAA women's basketball player of the week for the second straight week and third time during the 2017-18 season.
In the Pioneers lone game last week, Bialecki almost recorded a triple-double in a 78-60 victory over Maine Fort Kent. She finished with 25 points, 17 rebounds, and nine blocks. Bialecki shot 45.8 percent (11-24) from the field. Bialecki is averaging 20.6 points, 11.6 rebounds, and 4.7 blocks per game.
William Knight of SUNY Delhi was named the ACAA men's basketball player of the week.
