Bialecki Earns ACAA Honors
Catherine Bialecki (Alfred Almond) has been named the ACAA women's basketball Player of the Week for the fifth time this season.
Bialecki continued on her torrid pace by recording three double-doubles as the Pioneers swept the week with victories over Villa Maria, Delhi, and Canton. She had 24 points, 17 rebounds, and two blocks vs. Villa, 24 points, 13 rebounds, and six blocks vs. Delhi, and 20 points, 11 rebounds, and four blocks vs. Canton. On the year she is averaging 20 points and 11.9 rebounds per game.
Bialecki and the Pioneers wrap up the 2017-18 season on Saturday when they travel to SUNY Canton.
Anthony Chaco of UMaine-Presque Isle was named the ACAA male player of the week.
