  • Trio Honored for Academic Success by ACAA

    Emily Benes (Buffalo/Mt. Mercy), Michayla Salatel (Geneseo), and Kelsey Shaulis (Ovid/South Seneca) have been honored for their success in the classroom by the American Collegiate Athletic Association. They join 30 other student-athletes on the Academic All-ACAA Basketball team and honor roll.

    The Alfred State athletic department is excited to announce the 2019 Hall of Fame Class. The 2019 Hall of Fame Class features five student-athletes, two contributors, and a team.

    Jordyn Pettit (Wellsville) has been named the ECAC North Rookie of the Month. Pettit had an impressive last month of the season as Alfred State played five contests.

    Alfred State junior guard Rayanna Anderson (Wellsville) has been named All-ACAA 1st team following an all-around solid season.
  • Pioneers Season Ends in ACAA Semifinal

    The Alfred State women's basketball team saw their season come to an end in the ACAA Semifinals. Thomas More (KY) used a balanced attack as they improved to 26-0 with a 106-56 victory.
  • ACAA Women's Tournament Preview

    The 2019 American Collegiate Athletic Association Championships will be contested this weekend at Alfred State. The top four teams in the conference, including two teams making their second consecutive trip to the championships, will compete for the title.

    The Alfred State women's basketball team rolled past Pine Manor 77-53 in their regular season finale. The Pioneers finished with four players in double-figures as they improve to 6-17 on the year.
  • Big 2nd Quarter Lifts Green Mountain

    Green Mountain connected on seven 3-pointers in the 2nd quarter and used that momentum en route to a 78-66 victory over Alfred State on Friday night. The Pioneers trailed by as many as 29 in the 3rd quarter but surged back with a strong 4th quarter.

    Five Pioneers finished in double figures as Alfred State raced past SUNY Delhi 80-54 to complete the season sweep of the Broncos. The Pioneers have now won two straight contests.
  • Women's Basketball Will Enter ACAA Tournament as #4 Seed

    Gina Boyd and the Alfred State women's basketball team will head into the American Collegiate Athletic Association (ACAA) Tournament as the #4 seed. The championships will be held at Alfred State February 23-24 in conjunction with the men's tournament.

    As temperatures continued to drop outside, the Alfred State women's basketball team heated up in the 2nd half as they erased a nine point 1st half deficit and earned a 68-59 victory over SUNY Delhi on Wednesday evening.

    Four players finished in double figures as the Alfred State women's basketball team tangled with Maine Fort Kent. The Bengals used a strong 1st half as they defeated the Pioneers 83-60.
