Trio Honored for Academic Success by ACAA

Emily Benes (Buffalo/Mt. Mercy), Michayla Salatel (Geneseo), and Kelsey Shaulis (Ovid/South Seneca) have been honored for their success in the classroom by the American Collegiate Athletic Association. They join 30 other student-athletes on the Academic All-ACAA Basketball team and honor roll.

Benes holds a 3.52 GPA in Diagnostic Medical Sonography while Salatel holds a 3.97 GPA in Financial Planning to be named to the Academic All-ACAA team. The team is comprised of 20 student-athletes with cumulative grade point averages of 3.50 or greater. This select group sports an average GPA of 3.69.

Shaulis holds a 3.43 GPA in Diagnostic Medical Sonography and is one of 13 student-athletes named to the Academic All-ACAA Honor Roll. Members of the Honor Roll hold cumulative grade point averages of 3.25 to 3.49 and has an average GPA of 3.37.

To be eligible for either honor the student-athlete must have completed two semesters at their current institution and have participated in at least one contest during the current season.
