Fox Earns Postseason Wrestling Honors

Alfred State wrestler Conner Fox (Midlakes) has earned All-Region III, All-Northeast District, and All-WNYAC accolades following a successful freshman campaign.

Fox wrestled at 174 lbs. and finished the 2012-13 season with a 14-13 record.  He earned a team six pins and finished 2nd at the Region III/Northeast District Championships to earn a trip to the NJCAA National Championships.  Other highlights of the season included finishing 4th at the Niagara Open in December.  He earned 2nd team honors for all three awards.

Ethan Livernash (Penfield), Tyler Aldinger (Alexander), Anthony Carome (Cincinnati, OH), Travis Harvey (Alfred Almond), and Dan Ognibene (Alexander) all earned 3rd team All-Region honors based on their finish at the Region III/Northeast District Championships.

The Pioneers finished the 2012-13 campaign with a 2-7 dual meet record, finished 4th at the Region III/Northeast Districts, and finished T-40th at the National Championships.
