Signorelli Selected to NWCA Ranking Committee

Alfred State second year head coach Justin Signorelli has been named to the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) DIII Men's Ranking Committee. He is one of two members of the Mideast Region.

Signorelli is joined by Jason McLean from Muhlenberg in the Mideast and is one of 12 total members of the committee. He was voted in to the position by his fellow coaches in the region.

The ranking committee works on both the NCAA DIII national and team rankings. 113 colleges sponsor wrestling programs at the DIII level.

Signorelli is excited to be part of the group and ready to get started. "It is an honor to have been voted in by my professional peers to serve on the NWCA Ranking Committee while representing the NCAA Mideast Region. I am excited for the new challenge and I am looking forward to the opportunity to work alongside the dedicated coaches from around the country that make up this committee."

Most NCAA DIII teams will start the competition part of the 2020-21 season in late January or early February. The NCAA DIII National Championships are scheduled for March 12-13 in Wisconsin.
