After tremendous success the past two years, the Alfred State wrestling program will be sponsoring our 3
rd annual “Pin Pool” fundraiser. This event is comprised of a motivational component (for the team and individuals) while serving as a tool to assist in our fundraising efforts. The support received through these efforts directly impacts our program. Proceeds this year are targeted to offset costs of our travel to the 2024 NWCA National Dual Meet Championships in Iowa and all pledges are greatly appreciated!
Here is how it works:

- Select a donor level & coinciding dollar amount that you wish to participate in and pledge per pin through our 2023-24 season (listed below).
- Follow the Ox Gang (through email updates, alfredstateathletics.com and/or @AlfredWrestling on Twitter and @alfredstatewrestling on Instagram) as the season progresses and we look to stick our opponents!
- At the end of the season, we will contact you to share the total number of pins we earned, what your pledge total comes to and also to confirm your mailing address and size for your 2023-24 Pin Pool participant gift(s).
National Champion: $5 pledge per pin
NCAA All-American: $3 pledge per pin
All-Mideast Region: $2 pledge per pin
All-Conference: $1 pledge per pin
For reference, last year during the 2022-23 season we again set a new program high with 167 wins by pin! The previous year we had set the program high mark with 121 wins by pin and during the 2019-2020 season we collected 73 pins as a team. We hope to again beat last seasons record pin total this year and hope you choose to be a part of this fun and worthy competition!
All gifts are made through the Alfred State Development Fund and are tax deductible and 100% of your gift goes directly to the wrestling program.
