Bio

Marc Agnello has been added to the staff as a Volunteer Assistant Coach for the 2022-23 season. This will be his second season working with the wrestling program. He will also be serving the Alfred State Baseball program as one of their Volunteer Assistant Coach’s this season as well.  

Agnello works full time for the Wellsville Central School District as a Physical Education teacher in their Secondary School. He also works as a Licensed Real Estate Agent with HUNT Real Estate ERA in Alfred, NY. 

Agnello brings a wealth of knowledge to the program with decades of coaching and strength training experience under his belt. Agnello holds his CSCS certification through the NSCA, which is widely renowned as by far the best strength and conditioning certificate an individual can hold.  

In the past Agnello has worked with the Alfred State Baseball program, serving them primarily in the area of strength and conditioning. He has also coached for the baseball and wrestling programs for the Wellsville Lions.  

Agnello is a dual graduate of SUNY Cortland where he earned his master’s degree in Physical Education in 1994 after earning his bachelor’s degree in Physical Education in 1993. 

In his free time Agnello like to go for rucks and train BJJ. He resides in Alfred with his wife Kathleen and their three daughters.
