Pioneers Drop Sunday Contest

Alfred State Women's Soccer traveled to St. Vincent College; the Pioneers dropped the contest 0-2.

Alfred State and St. Vincent were locked at zero, after a defensive half for both sides. The second half saw two goals scored by St Vincent, the first coming in the 52 minute and the last in the 75 minute.

There were six shots taken by the Pioneers. Allison Lundmark (Lakewood, N.Y. / Southwestern) and Victoria Stuck (Bolivar, NY / Bolivar Richburg) were the shot leaders with two, one of them was a shot on goal for each.

The Pioneer goalkeepers split the game today. Sierra Schofield (Delran, NJ / Delran) had three saves in the first, Gianna Dimora (Greece, NY / Greece Olympia) had four saves in the second half.

The Women's Soccer team is back in action Tuesday at Elmira, set to start at 4 p.m.
