Women's Soccer Travels to Elmira

The Alfred State Women's Soccer team traveled to Elmira today and dropped the contest 1-0 to the Soaring Eagles.

The Pioneers put together seven shots in the match, four coming in the first half and three more in the second.

Shot leaders Emily O'Duffy (Livonia, NY / Livonia High School) and Victoria Stuck (Bolivar, NY / Bolivar Richburg) both had two shots, one on goal for each.

Sierra Schofield (Delran, NJ/ Delran) faced five shots on goal in the first half, amounting to four saves. Giana DiMora (Greece, NY / Greece Olympia) had a shutout second half, totaling three saves.

The Women's Soccer team plays their next match on Sunday, September 18 at Buffalo State, against the Bengals.
