Pioneers Score Season-High in Win

The Alfred State Women's Soccer team won 6-0 today against conference rival Pitt.- Bradford. The Pioneers largest win of the season came from a season high 26 shots.

The Pioneers put 21 shots on net, which forced Pitt.- Bradford's goalkeeper Sadie Wood to tally a season-high 15 saves.

Madison Kice (Canadensis, PA / Pocono Mountain East) and Jena Schelble (Boston, N.Y. / Springville High School) had nearly identical offensive stat lines. They both knocked in two goals for Alfred State, while also both tallying an assist on the day. Megan Fischer (Bemus Point / Maple Grove) took six shots, putting five on goal and one in the net. Erin Drewiega (Springville, N.Y. / Springville High School) took four shots, scored a goal and had an assist on the night as well. 

The Pioneers travel to LaRoche for a conference match on October 22, they are set to start at 3 p.m.
