Two Women's Soccer Players Named to AMCC All-Conference Teams

The Pioneers ended their season with a first round loss to Mt. Aloysius in the AMCC tournament. Alfred State landed two players on the All-Conference team. Jena Schelble and Falyn Lewis-Ellison were the Pioneer leaders all season and the two senior athletes were recognized for their stellar play.

Jena Schelble was named to the All-Conference second team, and the senior forward's goal-scoring ability showed all season long. Schelble appeared in all seven conference games and started in six of them. She tallied two goals and three assists in conference matches, including a game-winner against La Roche.

Falyn Lewis-Ellison was the defensive centerpiece for Alfred State. The senior captain center back was the stopping force all season against opposing attacks. Her ball-winning ability and positioning on opposing crosses saved countless goals from entering the Pioneer net. Lewis-Ellison started all seven conference games and was the captain all season.
