Lewis Honored by AMCC
Alfred State sophomore Kathryn Lewis (Niagara Wheatfield) has been named the AMCC women's swimmer of the week.
Lewis led the Pioneers to a first place finish at the Erie CC Invitational with three individual first place finishes and was also part of a winning relay team. Lewis won the 1650 free in 20:49.96, the 100 free in 1:07.18, and the 400 free in 5:04.87. She was also part of the winning 400 free relay team.
Lewis is the 4th member of the women's swimming & diving team to earn AMCC weekly honors this season. Chris Troll of Pitt-Bradford was named the men's swimmer of the week.
The Pioneer women have a pair of AMCC meets this week. They travel to Franciscan on Wednesday and then to Pitt-Bradford on Friday.
