Pioneers Sit in 2nd Place in AMCC Standings After Day 2

The Alfred State women's swimming and diving team sits in 2nd place in the AMCC standings after two days of competition at the 2020 Allegheny Empire Championships. The Pioneers are just 10 points behind Penn State Behrend.

Highlighting day was the 400 medley relay team and the trio of Pioneer divers.

Mikaela Snayczuk was 8th in the 100 fly (1:02.72) while Armstrong was 12th (1:05.50). Kisluk was 12th in the 200 free (2:06.83).

The 200 free relay team of Veronica Boller (Wales/Iroquois), Elizabeth Jurs (Elba), Langerman, and Rebecca Stevens finished 8th (1:55.00).

The Pioneers have accumulated 271 points in the AMCC standings and trail only Penn State Behrend by 10. In the overall standings, ASC has 382 points and sits in 5th place.

Day three begins at 10 a.m. with preliminaries followed by diving at 1 p.m. and finals at 5:30 p.m.
