Pioneers Win Again At Home

The Alfred State Women's Swimming and Diving team won today's conference match against Penn.- St. Altoona 189-87.

Sarah Streeter (LeRoy, NY / Byron Bergen) dove in the 1M and 3M events. In the 1-meter dive she scored 114.65 and in the 3-meter she scored a 160.45.

Some standouts from the meet include three-record breaking times. Emma Merrick (Cleveland, OH / Normandy High School) broke the 200-yard fly Alfred State record with a time of 2:26.12. Mallory O'Keefe (Brighton, CO / Stargate Charter School) broke the Alfred State 100-yard fly record with a time of 1:02.49. The women's team also broke the 200-yard freestyle relay record with a time of 1:54.78. Madison Snayczuk (Machias, NY / Pioneer High School), Mallory O'Keefe, Mikaela Snayczuk (Machias, NY / Pioneer High School), and Anna Ivery (Syracuse, NY / West Genesee High School) were the four that competed and set the new Pioneer record.

The Pioneers are back in action on Thursday, November 17 as they compete in the three-day Oberlin Invitational.
