Pioneers Edge Out Hartwick

The Pioneers Women's Swim and Dive team defeated Hartwick 150-125.

The day started with a 200 medley relay win by Anna Ivery (Syracuse, NY / West Genesee High School), Mikaela Snayczuk (Machias, NY / Pioneer High School), Adriana Gill (Camillus, NY / West Genesee), and Madison Snayczuk (Machias, NY / Pioneer High School). The Pioneers won with a time of 1:57.11, edging out Hartwicks team by 6 seconds. Mallory O'Keefe (Brighton, CO / Stargate Charter School) won the 200 freestyle with a time of 2:06.53, beating a Hartwick swimmer by only 3 hundredths of a second. Anna Ivery won the 100 backstroke and the 50 free events. Sarah Streeter (LeRoy, NY / Byron Bergen) had a score of 130.55 in the 3m dive.

Alfred State hits the road to Brockport for a tri-meet against Fredonia and Brockport on January 28.

The Pioneers Men's Swimming and Diving team won today's meet against Hartwick 198-102.
