James and Ivery Earn Top Honors. Mariotti Named Co-Coach of the Year

The AMCC released all-conference honors. Sophomore Alyssa James has been tabbed the AMCC Women's Swimmer of the Year. James collected the most points on the women's side at the AMCC Championship meet last week.  She earned individual first place finishes in the 500 free and the 100 back, along with a second place finish in the 200 back. James was also part of multiple relay teams that placed first at the championship, including the 400 medley relay, the 200 medley relay and the 800 free relay. 

Alfred State freshman Anna Ivery has picked up Newcomer of the Year honors. Individually, she placed first at the AMCC Championship in the 50 free, while also placing first as part of the 200 free relay, 200 medley relay, and the 400 free relay. Ivery also picked up a second place finish in the 100 back.

Alfred State head coach Isabel Mariotti and Penn State Behrend head coach Jennifer Wallace have been named AMCC Co-Coaches of the Year.

Many other Pioneers were named to the all-conference list for their events.
