Pettit and Yanarella Highlight Day One of CSAC Championships
Jordyn Pettit (Wellsville) and Julia Yanarella (Wappingers Falls/Roy Ketcham) highlighted the Alfred State women's track & field team's day one performances at the Colonial States Athletic Conference Championships.
Pettit recorded the highest finish of the day with a 2nd place finish in the pole vault. She cleared a height of 2.60 m. Yanarella finished 3rd in javelin with a throw of 22.00 m and was 4th in the hammer throw with a toss of 19.25 m. Veronica Dailey (Addison) was 9th in the 1,500 crossing the finish line in 5:37.56.
Day 2 of the CSAC Championships starts at 9:30 a.m. tomorrow at Keystone College.
