Alfred State junior outside hitter Kay Pfleghardt (Tioga) has been named an honorable mention USCAA All-American following a solid campaign for the 17-13 Pioneers.

The Alfred State volleyball team wrapped up their 2013 season at Houghton College on Wednesday night. The Highlanders came out victorious 25-18, 25-18, 25-16.

The Alfred State volleyball team wrapped up play at the Houghton College Tournament on Saturday falling 3-0 to SUNY Canton and dropping a 3-2 decision to Hilbert. The Lady Pioneers are now 17-12 on the year.
Win Streak Snapped

The Alfred State volleyball team saw their six match winning streak come to an end following a pair of losses at the Houghton College Invitational. The Lady Pioneers fell 3-0 to Lycoming and 3-0 to Michigan Dearborn.
Braun Honored by USCAA

Alfred State sophomore setter Lera Braun (Waterloo) has been named the setter of the week by the USCAA. Braun helped the Lady Pioneers to a 3-0 week with a 3-1 victory over Finger Lakes CC and a pair of 3-0 wins over Penn College.

The Alfred State volleyball team defeated Penn College of Technology twice in a volleyball doubleheader on Saturday morning. The Pioneers won the opener 25-11, 25-11, 25-3 and the nightcap 25-13, 25-20, 25-6.

The Alfred State volleyball team registered their 15th victory of the season with a 25-14, 23-25, 25-21, 25-11 victory over Finger Lakes CC. The Lady Pioneers are now 15-8 on the year.

The Alfred State volleyball team sent a large "Dig Pink" crowd home happy with a 25-19, 25-15, 25-20 victory over D'Youville on Thursday evening. The Lady Pioneers are now 14-8 on the year.
Braun Named Alfred State Athlete of the Week

Sophomore volleyball player Lera Braun (Waterloo) has been named the Alfred State athlete of the week after helping the Lady Pioneers to a 2-1 week with solid all-around performances.

Weekend Schedule Changes for Volleyball

The Alfred State volleyball team has had a couple minor schedule changes for this weekend. Instead of heading to Penn State Beaver on Saturday the team will head to Penn State New Kensington on Sunday.
