The Pioneer Volleyball team was victorious in both legs of the double header today. Winning both matches 3-1.
The first match began at 1p.m. today, against Elmira College. Winning a close first set by a score of 26-24.
After dropping the second set, Alfred State won the third and fourth sets to claim the first victory of the day.
The second match of the day was against MCLA. Alfred State dropped the first set 18-25, but then came back and won three in a row to claim the match.
The second set was the closest of the three, finishing with a score of 25-22. Back to back kills by Keturah Gregory and Becca Brown sealed the set for the Pioneers.
The final two sets finished with scores of 25-19 and 25-12, finishing off what was an impressive day for the Alfred State team.
