The Alfred State Women's Volleyball team swept Keuka College 3-0 this evening in the Orvis Activities Center.
The Pioneers were dominant all evening, with a 25-19 win in the first set and 25-16 in the second set. The Wolves didn't go down easy in the third set, bringing it within one point after getting down early. Alfred State held on, and was able to close the night on a 25-23 win.
Nayomie Ferrer Santiago (San Juan, PR) had an impressive evening, having 11 digs and 22 assists. Karleigh Haines (Jamestown, NY) also added 10 kills on the night, while Racquel Gerstenberger (Schoharie, NY) had 12.
The team competes again on Saturday in a tri-match with Morrisville State and Lycoming. Their first match will be against Morrisville State at 11:00am.
