Pioneers Wrap up Season at NCAA Regionals

The Alfred State women's cross country team wrapped up the 2022 season by competing at the NCAA Division III Niagara Regional. 167 runners competed on the 6k course.

Sarah Rivet (Waterford, NY / Shenendehowa) led the Pioneers with a 110th place finish. She crossed the finish line in 26:59.5. Laura Ferris (Victor, NY / Mercy) was 130th (28:16.0), Andi Williamson (Canisteo, NY / Greenwood) was 132nd (28:16.9), Summer Kier (East Rochester, NY East Rochester) was 139th (29:45.8), and Annaliese Hersom (Bergen, NY / Byron Bergen)  rounded out the Pioneers top five with a 147th place finish (31:22.2). 

Geneseo took home the team title with a score of 18 followed by NYU (79), Ithaca (155), and Rochester (162). Alfred State finished 22nd with a score of 627.
