Perkins and Bathgate Honored by AMCC
For the second time this fall, Kiara Perkins (Coudersport, PA) and Gavin Bathgate (East Rochester) have earned AMCC Player of the Week honors.
Perkins was named the AMCC Defensive Player of the Week after an all-around solid effort on Saturday afternoon. In a pair of sweeps of Pitt Greensburg, she had 14 digs in the conference victory and averaged 3.80 digs per set in her five sets played on Saturday. She also added 12 kills and five service aces.
Bathgate as the top ASC and AMCC finisher at the Geneseo Mike Woods Invitational. He averaged 5:24 per mile in a preview of the NCAA Regional course to finish the 8k course in 26:47.6.
Perkins and Bathgate both took home AMCC weekly honors after the first week of the 2021 fall season.
