Gregory and Fletcher Named ASC Athletes of the Week
Keturah Gregory (Laurel, MD) and Kellen Fletcher (Wrightstown, NJ) have been named the Alfred State Athletes of the Week.
Gregory had a big week as the Pioneers went 3-0 and pushed their winning streak to ten matches. She recorded 10 kills and a .769 hitting percentage in a sweep of Medaille. She then had nine kills and a .818 hitting percentage in the AMCC victory over Mt. Aloysius. She finished the week with eight more kills in the non-conference battle with MAC.
Fletcher has been impressive in the Pioneers first two meets. In the victory over Fredonia, he won the 200 IM (1:59.79), the 100 fly (53.77), and was part of the winning 200 medley relay team (1:37.51).
