Week in Review:
Women's Basketball: 6-3, 3-0 AMCC
The Pioneers picked up two conference wins over Pitt.-Bradford and Mt. Aloysius this past week and are undefeated in the AMCC.
Against Pitt.-Bradford: Skylar Shaulis led the way with 17 points and 11 rebounds, Emily Kelley added 14 points with 10 rebounds, Janna Pena recorded 13 points with a team-high 15 rebounds, My'ana Davis logged 10 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists and Calesta Reigelman had ten points.
Against Mt. Aloysius: My'ana Davis scored a season-high 23 points with four assists and Janna Pena recorded 14 points and 12 rebounds.
Men's Basketball: 4-5, 1-2 AMCC
The Pioneers split over the week. They lost 97-96 to Pitt.-Bradford and beat Mt. Aloysius 92-81.
Against Pitt.-Bradford: Josh Reding led the Pioneers with 21 points, Josh Romero recorded 19 points with seven assists, Basheem Wilkerson had 12 points and Isaiah Kostyal added 11 points.
Against Mt. Aloysius: Tavion Williams scored 23 points including going 6-for-6 from the free throw line. Josh Reding added 17 points and went 8-for-10 in free throws. Basheem Wilkerson posted 16 points and picked up a team-high 11 rebounds and Paris Jamison had 11 points.
Indoor Track & Field:
Track & field competed in the Utica Holiday Classic on Saturday.
Oluwatobi Adebowale finished fifth in weight throw which puts her in the Alfred State record book and is now the second best in program history.
Gavin Bathgate finished second in the 5000-meters in 16:02.55 and was seventh in the 3000-meters in 9:19.24.
Wrestling: 6-3
The Alfred State wrestling team won two of three matches at the December Duals sponsored by the Kinley Corporation inside Orvis Gymnasium on Saturday.
The Pioneers cruised past Ulster Community College 60-0, beat Keystone College 33-16 and battled Lycoming College but lost 24-17.
