Kelley and Shaulis Named ASC Athletes of the Week
Alfred State women's basketball student-athletes Emily Kelley (Andover) and Skylar Shaulis (Ovid/South Seneca) have been named the Alfred State College Athletes of the Week.
Kelley recorded her seventh double-double of the season after leading the Alfred State Pioneers with 19 points, ten rebounds, three assists and two blocks in their 65-46 conference win over Hilbert on Saturday. Her 19 points in the game ties her season high.
Kelley was honored with the AMCC Athlete of the Week.
Shaulis also double-doubled with 16 points and a team-high 12 rebounds and had three assists.
Kelley and Shaulis are key parts to the Pioneers undefeated start in the conference going 4-0 before winter break
Alfred State is back in action on Thursday, Dec. 30 when they head to Nazareth for a game at 4 p.m.
