Snayczuk, Streeter and Miller Earn AMCC Honors

Madison Snayczuk (Machias/Pioneer), Sarah Streeter (LeRoy/Byron Bergen) and Austin Miller (Hornell) from Alfred State swimming and diving were honored by The Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) as Athletes of the Week.

Snayczuk picks up her first AMCC athlete of the week honor after winning three events, breaking a program record, and setting three pool records in the Alfred State women's swimming and diving 133-57 win over Roberts Wesleyan on Saturday at the Voller Athletic Center.

Snayczuk set a program record and broke the pool record in the 50-yard free with a time of 25.20.

She also set a pool record in the 100-yard free with a time of 56.27 and was the anchor for the of the winning 400-yard medley relay which included Alyssa James, Mikaela Snayczuk and Mackenzie Gillette. The relay won in a time of 4:21.46.

Streeter also picks up her first AMCC athlete of the week honor after winning the 1-meter dive with a score of 139.28.

Miller earns this accolade for the fifth time this season after winning the 1-meter diving with a score of 241.73 in the Alfred State men's swimming and diving 168-35 win over Roberts Wesleyan on Saturday to help assist the Pioneers to a 7-0 regular season record.

The men's swimming and diving team are the first of any Alfred State team to finish their regular season going undefeated in the Division III era.
