Women First, Men Second in CSAC Pre-Season Coaches' Polls

The Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) announced their preseason coaches' poll.

The Alfred State women's track and field team is predicted to finish first and the men second.

The Pioneers opened up their 2022 outdoor season last weekend at the Jim Taylor Invitational hosted by Susquehanna. They head to Geneseo April 2 and 3 for the Geneseo Early Season Invitational.

The women won the CSAC Championships in 2021 and were fourth in 2019.

The men finished second at the CSAC Championships in both 2021 and 2019.

The Pioneers will host the 2022 CSAC Championships on Saturday and Sunday, May 7th and 8th.

  2. Penn State-Behrend (28 points)
  3. Cedar Crest College (22 points)
  4. Gallaudet University (21 points)
  5. Keystone College (12 points)
  6. Notre Dame of Maryland University (7 points)

Men's Poll:

  1. Penn State-Behrend (15 points)
  2. Alfred State (11 points)
  3. Gallaudet University (9 points)
  4. Keystone College (5 points)
