Week in Review:

Baseball (10-15, 4-0 AMCC)

The Pioneers are on an eight-game win streak and are undefeated in the conference.

Nick Serce was named the AMCC Player of the Week.

In three games, Serce recorded five hits, three runs, four RBIs . 2 home runs and a .455 batting average.

Softball (4-10, 1-1 AMCC)

The Pioneers split with Penn State Altoona to open up conference play. They won their first game 5-1 then lost game two 4-0.

Women's Track and Field:

Nicole Hume is now fifth All-Time on the Alfred State All-Time list for hammer throw.

Hume threw 38.15m (125-2) at the Geneseo Early Season Invitational to finish 10th overall.

Men's Track and Field:

Dylan Perlino was named the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Field Athlete of the Week for the second consecutive week.

Perlino won discus with a throw of 48.53m (159-2) at the Geneseo Early Season Invitational and is currently ranked 6th in NCAA DIII for discus.

He broke his own hammer throw record for the second time this season after throwing 51.76m (169-10) to place 3rd and break his own program record he originally set at the end of the 2021 season and reset last week.

He is currently ranked 16th in NCAA DIII for hammer.
