Compton Headed To The National Championship For The Second Straight Year

Alfred, NY- Conor Compton is headed to the NCAA Swim and Dive National Championship this week. Wednesday is the three-meter diving final and Friday will be the one-meter diving, both finals will start at 6 pm.

Compton has had a great year hitting national standards in almost every outing on the boards. He won both 1-meter and 3-meter boards at the conference championship meet on his way to earning Allegheny Empire Diver of the Meet and his second straight AMCC Diver of the Meet. Then at the NCAA All-Region Championship, Compton won the 3-meter board with a score of 551.40 to take home the Region Title.

Compton earned All-American status in the 3-meter board last season and will look to finish higher this season.
