Pioneer Athletes Of The Week
Alfred, NY- This week's Pioneer Athletes of the Week are Baseball's Ryan Kinney and Softball's Lauryn Engle.
Ryan Kinney made two appearances for the the Píos last week. He pitched 6.1 innings for an ERA of 1.42, and six strikeouts. He help the Pioneers secure a win against Penn State Altoona in extra innings holding then to only one hit and striking out two.
Lauryn Engle led the way for the Pioneers all week, batting .524 with eight RBIs and 10 runs scored. Of her 11 hits she came away with four doubles and a triple. The Pioneers went 4-2 on the week
