PITTSBURGH, Pa. - The La Roche RedHawks claimed victory over the Alfred State Pioneers in Women's Soccer, with a dominating 4-0. A wonderful mood for La Roche's Senior Day. ● Sophomore Alexis Nudds (#7, Johnstown, PA / Westmont Hilltop) scored the first goal of the game at the 33rd minute, with an assist from Sophomore Alexandra Mecchia (#18, Pittsburgh, PA / Moon). ● Sophomore Midfielder Victoria Biagetti (#5, Pittsburgh, PA / Carrick) scored her first career goal only a few minutes later, earning La Roche their second goal, with an assist from Junior Midfielder Kaylyn Cannon (#4, Pittsburgh, PA / Carrick). ● Senior Forward Alondra Gonzalez (#10, Beaver Falls, PA / Blackhawk) scored the 3rd La Roche goal about midway through the second period. This had 2 players assist, Alexandra Mecchia and Senior Forward Piper Claypool (#13, Sarver, PA / Freeport).

● Alexis Nudds scored the fourth goal of the game minutes later, this one with no assist. This would be her 6th goal of both her college soccer career.

● Both teams had a total of 9 shots, though La Roche had 7 shots on goal to Alfred's 8.

● The Women's Soccer team now stands at 5-9-1 for the season
