Williams Earns ECAC All-Star Honors

After a 2014 season in which he rewrote the record book, Rasheed Williams (Swedesboro, NJ) has been named a 1st team ECAC Division III North Football All-Star. Williams is one of two running backs honored with 1st team honors (Justin Wallace - MIT).

Williams rushed for 1,676 yards and 16 scores in nine games for the Pioneers. He rushed for over 100 yards in eight of the team's nine contests. He averaged 6.7 yards per carry and 186.2 per game. He also broke the school record with a 99-yard touchdown run vs. Castleton. 

Records Williams broke or tied during 2014 and during his two-year career (2013 & 2014) at Alfred State.

Williams is one of two Pioneer athletes to earn ECAC All-Star honors, Kali Muhleisen- soccer, this fall. The duo are the first two Alfred State athletes to earn ECAC postseason honors.

During the season, Williams was named USCAA offensive player of the week five times and was named the ECAC Northwest Player of the Week and named to the D3football.com Team of the Week following a 313 yard, five touchdown performance vs. Apprentice. Williams was named 1st team All-USCAA at the conclusion of the season.
