Jenkins Honored by ECFC for Third Time

Aaron Jenkins (Canfield, OH) has been named the ECFC Offensive Player of the Week for the third time. Jenkins helped lead Alfred State to a 38-7 victory over Keystone.

Jenkins rushed for his third 100-yard game in the last four games. He has rushed for at least 94 yards in each of the last five games. The Pioneer quarterback finished the Pioneers victory with 13 rushes for 122 yards and three scores (8, 13, & 13 yards). He was also 8 for 12 for 126 yards in the air.

Jenkins now has for 689 yards and 11 scores on the season and has passed for 1,582 yards and 10 scores.

Ian Detulleo (Castleton) was named the ECFC Defensive Player of the Week, Ian Derda (Maritime) was named Rookie of the Week, and Joseph Gagliardi (Maritime) was named Special Team's Player of the Week.

Jenkins and the Pioneers have a crucial ECFC battle on Saturday when they host Castleton. Opening kickoff is at Noon at Pioneer Stadium. Both teams enter the contest with a 3-1 mark in ECFC play and are in a four-way tie with Anna Maria and Gallaudet.
