Buddy Basketball Collects Food for Local Food Pantry
The Alfred State men's basketball team has conducted a buddy basketball clinic the past three Sunday afternoons and have collected food for a local food pantry.
Instead of paying a fee for the clinic, participants paid a $1 per session or brought a food item to be donated a local food pantry.
Campers received a free basketball and shirt for their participation.
During the three days of buddy basketball, campers have been taught a dribbling routine that they will demonstrate to the crowd at halftime of the Alfred State men's basketball team's game on Saturday. The game is slated to begin at 3 p.m. at the Orvis Activities Center vs. Jamestown CC.
