Julian Stover Joins The Pioneers Coaching Staff

Alfred, NY – Head coach Jack Dignan has a new addition to the Pioneers Men's Basketball Program. Coach Dignan is adding Mt. Aloysius alum Julian Stover to the coaching staff.

Julian is joining the Pioneers after spending one year at EMU as an Athletic Communication assistant. Before that, Julian spent two seasons as an assistant coach at St. Albans School in DC

Before that, he spent three years as a captain of the Mt. Aloysius basketball team. While on the team, Stover scored 1,082 points which is ninth on their all-time scoring list. He was also in the top five in assists totaling 175. He garnered third team all-conference honors in his sophomore and junior years. He was apart of Mt. Aloysuis winningest teams in 2019 and 2020 seasons, while he helped lead the team to the AMCC semifinals.

Coach Dignan says, "I'm very excited to add Julian to our staff.  He adds great energy and experience to our program.  He had great success in the AMCC as a player and will bring a strong knowledge of our conference".

Julian say "This season with the Pioneers, I am aiming to help each and every player become the best player they can be at this level, while also assisting in helping us become the best team possible. As a former AMCC student-athlete it is not too long ago where I was in these guys shoes, so I believe I'll be able to make a tremendous impact."
