Ithaca, NY- Alfred State suffered their first loss of the season against Ithaca, 2-1. The Pioneers drops to 4-1 on the season.
Nuri Sarbudak (Istanbul, Turkey) the reigning AMCC Offensive Player of the Week scored the Pioneers lone goal. Thaddeus Grierson (Perry, NY) tallied three saves on the day.
After a scoreless first half, ASC came out of the break aggressively to score the first goal of the goal. In the 50th minute, Sarbudak dribbled the ball into the box, and made a left-footed shot that went past the keeper and found the bottom right corner of the net, to take the 1-0 lead.
The Bombers rallied late to score two late unanswered goals to win the game.
