Barry & Zielinski Earn All-Conference Honors
Alfred, NY- The men's Cross-Country team saw Andrew Zielinski and Mamadou Barry garner AMCC All-Conference honors after a great race last weekend.
Andrew Zielinski was the first Pioneer across the line. The freshman from Orchard Park finished in 27:44.69 for 10th place at the conference meet for this honor.
Mamadou Barry crossed the line a few seconds later for 11th place. The Rochester, NY native finished with a time of 28:00.65.
Alfred State finished in second place as a team in the conference.
Head Coach Tim Giagios said, "I'm extremely proud of this team. They gelled together from day one and have done everything we've asked of them. Coach (Trevor) Stiles put together a season plan that prepared them for every meet and had them ready for Conferences – and it showed. This team is the cornerstone for the future of our program".
