Lady Pioneers Add Three New Student-Athletes

Lacrosse, Swimming & Diving, and Baseball to Join AMCC

The Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) recently accepted Alfred State as an affiliate member in men's lacrosse, men's and women's swimming & diving, and baseball. The Pioneers will begin play in men's lacrosse and swimming & diving in 2016-17 and in baseball in 2017-18.
Alfred State Moves to Year Three of NCAA DIII Process

The NCAA DIII Membership Committee recently announced that Alfred State has satisfied the requirements of year two of the membership process and will move on to year three in 2016-17.
Twelve Pioneers Earn USCAA National All-Academic Award Honors

Twelve Alfred State winter athletes have earned USCAA National All-Academic Award honors. The Pioneers have now had 27 athletes during the 2015-16 school year honored by the USCAA.
Sell Competes at ECAC Championships

Alison Sell (Hanover, PA) competed at the 2016 ECAC Championships on Saturday becoming the first Alfred State swimmer to compete at the end-of-year event. The event features mostly NCAA DI athletes and was held at the Naval Academy.
Sell Ready to Compete at ECAC's

Alison Sell (Hanover, PA) will become the first Alfred State swimmer to compete at the ECAC Winter Championships. Sell qualified for the ECAC's in the 100 breaststroke but will also swim in time trials for the 50 free and the 200 breast.
Pioneers Finish 5th at Geneseo Invitaitonal

The Alfred State swimming team wrapped up the regular season with a 5th place finish for both the men and the women at the Geneseo Invitational. The men scored 163 points while the women tallied 91.
SUNY Delhi Hosts Spring USCAA Swimming and Diving Meet

The SUNY Delhi Broncos and Alfred State College Pioneers participated in the SUNY Delhi Spring USCAA Swimming and Diving Meet on January 30th. It was the first USCAA swimming and diving event of its kind, with plans to expand in future years with more USCAA teams and promote the growth of the sports within the USCAA.

Pioneer Men Win Delhi Spring Invite

The Alfred State men's swimming team won the team title at the SUNY Delhi Spring Invitational. The Pioneers scored 405 points and won by 167 points. The women's team finished 3rd with 184 points.
Russell Leads Way for Pioneers

Zach Russell (Pal-Mac) was a double winner as Alfred State competed vs. Pitt Bradford on Saturday morning. The Panther men took a 105-87 decision while the Lady Panthers earned a 87-42 victory.

The Alfred State men's swimming and diving team finished 8th at the ECAC Winter Championships while the women's team finished 11th in the three-day competition held at the Nassau County Aquatic Center.

Allison Sell (Hanover, PA) highlighted Day 2 of the Alfred State performances at the ECAC Winter Championships with an impressive swim in the 100 breaststroke. After Day 2, the men's team has scored 286.5 points and sits in 8th place while the women are in 10th with 168 points.
Swim Team to Compete at ECAC Championships

The Alfred State swimming team will travel to the Nassau County Aquatic Center this weekend to compete in the ECAC Winter Swimming and Diving Championships. The three day event will feature competitors for 13 different school representing NCAA DI, DII, and DIII.
