Taylor Benjamin Garners AMCC All-Conference Honors

Alfred, NY- The Alfred State women's basketball team saw Taylor Benjamin honor AMCC All-Conference honors.

Taylor Benjamin earned third-team All-Conference honors, after leading the team in multiple stat categories throughout the season. Benjamin scored 12.8 points per game, while grabbing a team-high 9.0 rebounds per game. She shot 38.5 percent from the floor and 27.8 percent from the arch. Benjamin tallied four double-doubles on the season with four 20 plus point games.

Head Coach Taylor Button added "I am really proud of Taylor and all that she accomplished in her sophomore season. She had a pretty good season last year, but this year raised the bar even higher for herself and that showed in her statistics being better in every category. She is our engine and she deserves this. Hopefully this is just more fuel in her fire to continue to get better and make those around her better."
