Alfred Dropped A Hard Fought Match Against Hartwick

Oneonta, NY- Pioneers fell to Harwick 3-0 (22-25, 13-25, 23-25). Alayna Tomlinson and Racquel Gerstenberger tallied double-digit kill numbers in the effort.

Alayna Tomlinson led the way with 12 kills and eight digs. While Racquel Gerstenberger tallied 11 kills and seven digs. Nayomie Ferrer Santiago came away with 32 assists, and Adeline Milligan ended the day with nine digs.

The first set opened with a tightly contested and went back-and-forth the whole way. Before Hartwick notched the final two points of the set to win 25-22.

Hartwick carried the momentum into set two and three to win the match. Alfred State will be back in action tomorrow morning at 10:30 am to take on SUNY Delhi.
