Bio

2015-2016: A junior pitcher who appeared in 13 games and started 10. Led the pitching staff in wins with four, innings pitched with 69.1, complete games with four, and strikeouts with 45. He was also a recipient of the 2016 Pioneer Award.

2014-2015: Sass finished the season with a 3-2 record over the course of 47 and 1/3 innings pitched. He struck out 30 batters and only allowed 25 earned runs. His best game of the season came against D'Youville on April 14th. He picked up the win as the Pioneers went on to win, 10-4. He finished the day with six innings pitched, one earned run, an era of 1.50, and struck out three. Sass enters his Junior year as an intregal part of this years team both on and off the field as he is named one of the six captains of the 2015-2016 team.

2013-2014: As a Freshman, Sass finsihed the season on the mound with a 4-3 record with 47 innings pitched. He sat down 24 batters on strikes, and had nine complete games. His best game of the season came on April 3rd against Corning CC. In a complete game effort, he picked up the win, along the way he struck out eight, and held the opposing offense to only two earned runs.
