Pioneer Volleyball Has Three Take Home All-Conference Honors

Alfred, NY- Alfred State Volleyball garnered three All-Conference honorees as announced by the conference office Tuesday morning, after their season came to a close Sunday in the AMCC Finals.

Alfred, NY- Pioneers finished their regular season schedule with two wins. Their first win was a 3-1 (20-25, 25-23, 25-21, 25-14) victory over Mt Aloysius. Then they tallied a 3-0 (25-18, 25-11, 25-15) sweep over Elmira.

Alfred, NY- Pioneers notched two sweeps on the day against Pitt. Greensburg. In the first match, ASC won 3-0 (25-14, 25-19, 25-23), then in the second match Alfred State won 3-0 (25-20, 25-14, 25-15).

Alfred State and Carlow University battled back and forth in a tight five set AMCC match. The match featured 30 tied scores and 11 lead changes in the 25-20, 25-22, 21-25, 20-25, 15-12 victory for the Pioneers. ASC is now 9-6 on the season and 2-0 in AMCC play.
