Hamilton and Hulbert Named #PioneerPinpoint Athletes of the Week
Janae Hamilton (Ellicottville) and Eric Hulbert (Mexico) have been named the Alfred State #PioneerPinpoint Athletes of the Week.
Hamilton recorded 31 kills (.333 hitting percentage) and 18 total blocks (15 solo) as the Lady Spikers went 4-0 at the Alfred Tournament. On the year she has 131 kills and 50 blocks.
Hulbert ran his fastest 8k of the season at the Inter-Regional Rumble hosted by Oberlin. He ran the course in 27:36.2 which was 35 seconds faster than his season best at Roberts Weselyan. His effort helped the Pioneers to a 28th place finish in the meet that featured 32 teams from NY, OH, PA, MI, and VA.
