White Named All-Region

Alfred State freshman Jamar White (Laurel, MD) has been named All-Region 3rd team following a solid season.  White and the Pioneers finished the season 11-17 overall and 3-11 in Region III Division II games.

White started in all 28 games for the blue & gold this season and scored 347 points and grabbed 114 rebounds.  He added 65 assists and 24 steals.  His 12.4 ppg was tops on the team and his 4.1 rpg was 3rd.

He scored in double figures in 20 of the games including in 10 of the last 11 games of the season for the Pioneers.

White scored a season high 22 points twice this season.  His 22 point performances both came vs. Jamestown CC.

On the year he shot 47.2% from the field and 62.3% from the foul line.
